Our Founder
Tobago-born Alana Grant left home in 1989 to pursue personal and professional opportunities in the United States. She balanced education, family life, and demanding work schedules, including night shifts in hotel auditing and daytime nursing.
In the U.S., she built a career in real estate, becoming a licensed broker and founding her own office to serve her community.
A central part of her service was founding three licensed group homes, where she spent more than two decades providing comprehensive care for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Originally wanting to open a home for the elderly locally, God had other plans, and so the vison was given to her "wellness for all". Alana returned to Tobago and established a full-service wellness facility in Goodwood, opening in 2022. The Majuba Hill Lifestyle Center serves families, public sector workers, and a growing business clientele with a wide range of services.
In late 2024, she extended the mission by adding a plant-based food hub in Scarborough, expanding access to healthy food options on the island.
Today, her work supports local employment and contributes to Tobago’s wellness tourism potential. The eleven-room Swift International Majuba Hill Lifestyle Center anchors this vision, alongside outreach services that continue in western Tobago.
